This is what you should know about plagiarism

Many students and even professionals struggle with their attempt to avoid plagiarism as it is an extremely unethical action to take. Plagiarism refers to the act of publicly copying some or all of a literary work, scholarly article, or other text written by another person, or imitating an idea, as if it were original product of its own. Plagiarism is often confused with copyright infringement, but both have different contexts and orientations. Plagiarism happens in many levels of writing. For example, plagiarism can happen in a simple class essay in high school. However, professional authors and researchers are often called out for plagiarism. There are possibilities of getting expelled if caught plagiarizing other’s works. Many individuals, to avoid getting caught with plagiarism, cite their sources using websites such as Easybib. Easybib is a website that helps people cite their sources in MLA style format. Keeping a list of where an individual gets their information and quoting others can also help. There are many other ways to avoid plagiarism. Even with all the technology the world has, many are having problems to avoid plagiarism.
